On Thursday 10th December 2009 Birse Rail hosted its sixth HSEQ Supplier Forum. ETS UK Ltd. was awarded as one of only three Birse Rail suppliers.

Over 300 delegates cormprising subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, labour agencies and staff attended the event in December. The main objective from the forum was to ensure the continued enrolment of supply chain towards Zero Harm by 2012 in Birse Rail projects.

The Formun provided beside various activity centres, presentations and interactive discussions the opportunity to reward suppliers that have demonstrated a proactive approach to health and safety. Three Birse Rail Supply Chain Awards were presented and ETS UK got the Behavioural Safety Award.

In 2008 and 2009 ETS UK covered different sites of Birse Rail with safety staff and Automatic Track Warning Systems.
